Al Ain National Day 2025
Set deep within the rolling dunes of the Al Ain desert, the Al Ain National Day celebration was conceived as a seamless extension of its environment. The stage design blended organically into the landscape, anchored by four scenic projection elements and an integrated stage floor that became a canvas for immersive video storytelling.
The lighting design was carefully balanced to serve both the visual narrative and the technical demands of broadcast. It required a precise approach, delivering sufficient illumination for cameras while remaining subtle enough to preserve the integrity and contrast of the projected content.
To achieve this, the rig combined a strong base of floor-mounted fixtures with strategically positioned lighting towers, complemented by a substantial front-of-house array to provide depth, control, and coverage across the performance space.
The fixture package included Martin MAC Viper XIP, Martin MAC Ultra Wash, Ayrton Domino LT, Ayrton Cobra, Martin MAC Aura XIP and GLP impression X5 IP. Selected for their output, consistency, and reliability in a demanding outdoor environment.
Control was delivered via an MA Lighting grandMA system, seamlessly networked over a Luminex network infrastructure backbone, ensuring robust data distribution and system redundancy throughout the production.
